How to Use a Floss Threader

  1. Thread the Floss: Take about 18 inches of your regular dental floss and thread 4-5 inches of it through the loop of the threader.
  2. Guide the Threader: Insert the pointed end of the threader under your bridge, behind your orthodontic wire, or between an implant and the gumline.
  3. Pull Through: Gently pull the threader all the way through until the floss is in position.
  4. Floss as Normal: Remove the threader from the floss. Now, use the floss to clean the sides of the teeth or the underside of the bridge using the standard C-shape method.
  5. Remove: Gently pull the floss out from the side.
